Production Service Company
Clockwork Film Production is a full production service based in Belgrade and founded by producer and director Alek Conic. The company is providing a variety of production services to foreign productions: pre-production, production planning, hiring local crew, budgeting, legal advising, location scouting and obtaining permissions for filming, accounting and auditor services, insurance, accommodation and transport for local and foreign crew, filming logistics and obtaining necessary equipment from major rental companies, applying for film incentives, post-production, etc. They operate in Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina and facilitate obtaining all necessary shooting permits.
 
The company produced over 30 foreign projects in the past 9 years, mostly feature films and web series for major platforms: Disney +, Netflix, Amazon, Voot, SonyLiv, but also commercials, documentary films, special purpose films and content videos. One of the activities is making and developing its own content and screenplays. The projects filmed by Clockwork Films have strong and direct support by the Serbian Government and Prime Minister’s Office. In addition, the company holds a special permission to film with the Serbian Army and has a close relationship with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, which both represent unique possibilities for foreign producers. 
 
Some of the films produced by Clockwork Films have been screened at famous EU film festivals. The Italian film “Questi Giorni” (directed by Giuseppe Piccioni) went to the official competition program of the Venice Film Festival. The film “Uri: The Surgical Strike” has won four Indian Film Academy Awards, having been shot for 42 days in Serbia. Film “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect” had its premiere in Cannes Film Festival in 2022.
