It is located in the old part of the town known as Tijabara. Congregational Church was built by voluntary contributions from “devout Ortodox Christians from Pirot“. All the town guilds participated with a quarter in the financing of the construction and later in the maintenance of the church. Therefore, it can be said that the church was founded by craftsmen and workers.
