The historical archive of Zajecar was founded on 15th April 1948. It got its current name, “Timocka krajina”, in 1973. The building, which is situated in Nikola Pasic street, was built in 1979. There are about 3000 linear meters of archive materials classified into 485 fonds and document collections in the archive’s depots.
