Built in 1896 the mansion became the residential place of King Peter I in 1919. The idea of turning the house into a museum was put on hold after the World War II, and with the initiative of the Savski Venac municipality, work on restoration was finalized in 2009. Nowadays it is used both as a museum and a venue for various events.
