Korzo is the main promenade. Beautiful facades, mostly in the flowery style of Hungarian secession, are reconstructed and now again in their full glory. It is business and cultural center of the city. On one end is the National Theatre, and on the other Children’s Theatre. Among them are banks, shops and cafes with gardens. Buildings in neo-renaissance, classic, eclectic, art nouveau and modern style decorate the pedestrian street.
