8km from Valjevo Town, Petnica cave has been inhabited since the Paleolithic age and contains numerous archaeological findings from that period, as well as the remains of the fauna of the Ice Age. Visitors can access 414 m of cave channel which consists of 11 halls, some featuring an underground lake and daylight access.
