Silver Lake is actually a branch of the Danube river and has an area of 4,5 square kilometers, maximum width of 0,3 km and 14 km in length. In the afternoon when the sun starts to set behind the Carpathians, a lot of sun rays make the lake has a silver glow. The lake is surrounded by the acacia trees. There are many hotels, villas, restaurants near the lake.
