It is located at Plavinac, the hill near Smederevo. Its construction began in 1831 when the prince Miloš Obrenović built the first house in his vineyard. It was a small structure with the cellar and a shelter, surrounded by vineyards. It was later enlarged and in 1897 it got its present appearance of a villa with luxurious architecture and richly decorated facade. These structural interventions were made according to the project of the famous Belgrade architect Jovan Ilkić.
